The 57th Parintins Folklore Festival, in Amazonas, will be broadcast in its entirety, live, on Rede Amazônica and various platforms of Rede Globo.
The three-day event will be broadcast live and in full to: 5 states via Rede Amazônica, 40 countries via TV Globo Internacional, Globoplay, with open access for non-subscribers, and Multishow.
The Parintins Folklore Festival was created in 1965 to raise funds for the completion of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patron saint of the city. Since then, it has grown and gained recognition in Amazonas and across the country, becoming the largest open-air spectacle.
In each duel, the group has a minimum presentation time of two hours and a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes. While one boi performs, the 'galera,' or the cheering section, must remain silent.
This year, the Parintins Festival will take place on June 28, 29, and 30.
